Advance ticket sales ($15 adult/$5 child) close on Friday, September 5th, at 8pm.
Gate prices ($20 adult/$10 child) on Saturday.

On Saturday, September 6th, 2008 the third annual largest, most festive and fun event to ever be presented on Mount Desert Island will take place. This festival has been designed as an island wide and Downeast Maine funtime for all. We expect attendance to be from far and wide.
This is a professionally staged music and arts happening with seven musical acts of varying genres continuously for eight and one-half hours. A mix of folk, country, bluegrass, jazz, blues, and pop are being offered up for everyone's enjoyment. And more.....

In addition to a full day of great music and fun we will also be offering:
  • A beer tent offering fine beverages, ales, beer and wine by Atlantic Brewing Company.
  • Food vendors with something for every taste and whim. Soft drinks and bottled water.
  • Arts and crafts created by some of Maine's most talented and artistic.
  • And, anything else that we can think of to make this a most memorable time for all.
Believe us when we say that you do not want to miss this great time. We plan to make this an annual event at the same time each year. Come for an entire week or the whole weekend and make the Mount Desert Island Music and Arts Festival just a portion of a memorable time here where Acadia National Park is also located. Many lodging facilities at discounted rates this time of year are available while many of the area's activities await you. Whale watching, nature cruises, fine shops with products of all type, old fashioned "Downeast Lobsterbakes", restaurants and bistros, and so much more await your early fall visit.

Hiking and mountain biking on Acadia National Park's many miles of walking and carriage paths are but two of the most favorite pasttimes in our area of Maine.
So, come one, come all for an unforgettable time set amongst one of the most beautiful areas of the entire United States. We'll see you here.
